Tires

Tires are extremely important. This is where the rubber meets the road. Worn or damaged tires need to be replaced to maintain safety and performance.

Pumps and Inflation Devices

Tire pressure never gets the respect it deserves. Every tire has the recommended tire pressure printed on the side-wall. An under-inflated tire can increase the risk of puncture, severely decrease handling and drastically decrease peddling efficiency. Depending on the size and type of tire, pressure should be checked regularly and in the case of thin road tires, before every ride. All tires will loose air regardless of whether they're used or not.
Floor pumps are best for achieving proper pressure at home. Frame pumps and CO2 inflators allow you to inflate on-the-go or in emergency situations.

Water Bottles

Everyone needs to stay hydrated while riding. Water bottles have come a long way and now offer insulation, easy cleaning and are environmentally friendly too.

Seats and Covers

Seats are so diverse that they deserve a category all their own. Whether you've had your bike for a long time or just bought your new ride, it doesn't mean the seat is comfortable for YOU. A seat that's a joy for one may be a pain-in-the-butt (literally) for another. Seats come in all shapes and sizes for both recreational and racing applications and everything in between. Gel covers offer another option for softening an existing saddle. Looking at a seat is no indication of comfort. The only true test is actually riding on it. We at Bikeworks know this and we stand ready to help you find that perfect fit. First, we stock a HUGE quantity of seats in almost any configuration imaginable. Secondly, if you buy a new bike or new seat from us and find it uncomfortable, we'll give you full credit for that seat (provided it's undamaged) in an exchange for another model that works for you.
